One extremely positive aspect of using K&R Builders is the fantastic communication. All quotes and contracts are in writing and any follow on change orders are as well. This eliminated any ambiguity of what is to occur.

I’m happy to recommend Noel Reyes to anybody seeking a skillful, trustworthy contractor. I hired Noel to repair the decaying planks on my back deck after interviewing several candidates, and I’m very glad I did. This quick “repair” job proved to be much more extensive, once Noel discovered the support beams underneath were also rotting, resulting in major complications in the building permit process that would’ve scared most contractors away. Instead, thankfully, Noel stuck with me through the entire 1-year (!) delay, remaining in regular contact while managing all the outside relationships with engineers, subcontractors and city staff. Once my permit was finally approved, Noel worked quickly and efficiently to rebuild my entire deck top to bottom, always going the extra mile to thoroughly explain exactly what he and his crew were doing. The finished deck is even more beautiful than I imagined (I’ve gotten several compliments from my neighbors), and it feels so sturdy I now joke it’s going to outlast the rest of the house! If you are looking for a licensed contractor that you can trust to work on your home or business then I can understand your plight. It is very difficult these days to find an affordable, skilled, conscientious licensed contractor. The world seems to be filled with people willing to pose as one but it seems very few every remotely measure up.

Recently I had a major renovation of my kitchen in a 1920s condo and after considering several contractors, decided on K&R Builders from excellent recommendations and referrals. It was an extensive job with a complete remodel and installation of new walls, cabinets, flooring, plumbing, lighting, electrical units and removing all the original materials.
Mr. Reyes and his crew were very professional in making recommendations; developing a fair budget and timetable; and offering options to consider to stay within desired design. Due to the age of the building, extra work had to be done to remove old materials, but they were able to stay within the time table and justified additional charges were minimal. The workmanship was of the highest level and the SF City inspector commented on how all the work, including complicated electrical installations, were up to high standards.
Mr. Reyes demonstrated several times his high level of professional integrity and his desire to get the work complete to my complete satisfaction. In order to stay with the time frame, his crew worked extra hours to complete the job at no additional costs. The sub-contractors hired were also very professional and the finished product went beyond my expectations. Having dealt with other contractors over many years, I am convinced that K&R Builders is of the highest level in remodeling. I would recommend them without any hesitation. San Francisco condo renovation I got bids from dozens of contractors before choosing Noel Reyes of K&R Builders to renovate my 1 bedroom Victorian in San Francisco. Noel explained all my options and made sure I had the information I needed to feel comfortable moving forward at every stage. He brought in excellent sub-contractors when needed, and made sure all the work was coordinated. My friends who had experienced the “before” phase were amazed at the transformation.
